White Carniolan Bagpipe (plum and walnut wood)

A bagpipe chanter – one of the two known types of diple chanters of White Carniola (Bela krajina, Slovenia). The instrument is and most likely has originally been played with each hand covering the toneholes on its own bore, using the same or similar playing technique as has been used to play dvojnice double flutes common in the same area.

I’ve made this instrument in 2015.
